Create an H5VPN Account
Start by creating the account used to manage your orders, subscription, and client access.
Open the account creation page in the H5VPN user panel. Enter a username you plan to use long term and set a unique password stored separately. No email address is required; the username and password are the credentials you will use to access the user panel. Before submitting, make sure the username is easy to recognize and that the password has been saved securely. Browser autofill should not be your only backup—make sure you can find these credentials when switching devices.
After creation, the page will open the user panel. First confirm that the username shown at the top or in the account area is the one you just created, then continue to plan selection. If the page remains on the login screen, sign in with the same username and password. Do not create multiple accounts, or orders and subscriptions may end up split between them, making it difficult to tell which subscription the current client is using.
Use the account to view plan status, subscription details, order history, and client access in one place. Your subscription link is also an account credential and should not be shared in public chats, forums, or screenshots. Once the account is ready, choose a plan that matches your actual usage in the same user panel.
Start FreeChoose a Plan for Your Usage
Monthly subscriptions reset on the activation date; data packages remain available until used and never expire.
In the plans panel, first choose between a monthly subscription and a data package. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. They suit steady usage with connections needed every month. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; data remains available until used and never expires, making them better for irregular usage based on total consumption.
Once you know the type you need, do not judge it by the one-time price alone. Think about whether you mainly browse, work, stream, or transfer large files, then choose according to your data needs. All plans support unlimited devices, but each subscription should still be used only on devices you manage. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the difference is prorated against the remaining days. Use the user panel when you need more data instead of creating another account.
After choosing a plan, review the order page and check the plan name, data allowance, and amount. Then select an available payment method: Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and wait for the order status to update. If the plan status has not refreshed yet, reopen the account overview instead of placing the same order again. H5VPN offers 14-day no-questions-asked refunds; requests and order status are subject to the records in the user panel.
Get Your Subscription Link from the User Panel
Once the plan is active, copy your dedicated link from the account overview.
After the order becomes active, open the account overview and find the subscription section. It usually shows the plan status, remaining data, and subscription actions together. Choose “Copy Subscription” or a similar button to copy the link to the system clipboard. A valid subscription link is generated by the user panel; this page does not display a real address or provide a shared fixed link.
If you need to identify the link format, use this clearly fake value as a visual example: https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. It cannot connect and is not associated with H5VPN. In practice, copy only the dedicated link shown in your account overview. Do not edit its characters, add spaces before or after it, or mistake the user panel address in your browser for the subscription link.
After copying, continue directly to the client import steps for your current system. To configure another device you manage, sign in to the user panel on that device and copy the link again instead of sending it through a public channel. Once pasted into a client, the subscription link is used to retrieve route configurations, so protect it like a password. If you suspect it was exposed, handle the subscription information in the user panel first, then import it again.
The account overview is where you check subscription status. If a client update fails, return here to confirm that the plan is still active and check that the copied link is complete. Protocol selection, route topology, and deeper connection principles are outside this guide; continue with Protocol and Route Technical Reference.
Open the Account OverviewImport on Windows
Get the H5VPN client from the user panel, then add your subscription link.
Open the client section of the user panel and get the H5VPN client under Windows. Access the client from the panel; this page does not host a static installer link. After installation, launch the client, find subscription or configuration management, choose Add from URL, and paste the copied subscription link in full. Give the subscription a recognizable name and save it.
Run a subscription update after saving. The client should display a list of available routes. If the list is empty, check that no line breaks or spaces were added to the input, then return to the account overview and copy the link again. Once routes appear, choose one suited to your destination or use case, then enable the system proxy or the client’s connection switch. Windows may request network access permission the first time; confirm that the app name matches the H5VPN client you installed before continuing.
After connecting, do not change advanced options right away. Keep the default configuration for the verification steps ahead and confirm that the basic connection works. Adjust the protocol or route type only if you encounter stability issues in a specific network environment, using the technical documentation as a reference. This makes installation, subscription, and route issues easier to distinguish.
Get the ClientImport on macOS
Complete system authorization before updating the subscription and routes.
In the client section of the user panel, choose macOS and use the provided entry to get the H5VPN client. On first launch, macOS may show a network extension or VPN configuration authorization prompt. Check the app name in the prompt and confirm that it matches the installed client, then complete the required authorization. If you skip this step, the client may import routes but fail to establish a system-level connection.
Open the subscription or configuration page in the client, choose Add Remote Subscription, paste the link from the account overview, and save it. Then click Update to fetch the current routes. Once the route list appears, choose one suited to your situation and return to the client’s main screen to connect. If the system again asks to allow a VPN configuration, confirm it and wait for the client status to change to Connected.
You can usually find the related VPN configuration in macOS System Settings, but use the H5VPN client for everyday route switching. Do not run multiple clients with the same network-control function at the same time, as their system routes may conflict. If the client says Connected while websites still use the original egress, fully quit other similar clients, reconnect, and perform the verification steps below.
Get the ClientImport on Android
After adding the subscription, allow the system to create the VPN configuration.
Sign in to the user panel and open the client section, then follow the Android project entry to get the H5VPN client. After installing and opening it, find Add Configuration, Subscription Management, or Import from URL. Paste the dedicated link copied from the account overview, confirm and save it, then run an update. Once read, the client will organize the subscription routes into the selection list.
Choose a route and tap Connect. The first time Android establishes this type of connection, it displays a system VPN configuration confirmation dialog. This authorizes the client to handle network traffic. Confirm the app name and allow the configuration to be created. When connected, both the system status area and the client interface will usually show the VPN status. The exact icon may vary by system version, so rely on the client connection status and the later egress check.
Some systems restrict clients running in the background for long periods. If the connection often drops after the screen locks, check the client’s background permission and battery management policy in system app settings. Change only the settings related to the H5VPN client; you do not need to disable the system’s overall protection. Reconnect after saving the changes and observe stability during normal use.
Get the ClientImport on iOS
Get the client through the user panel instructions, then allow it to add a VPN configuration.
Open the client section of the user panel and choose iOS. Get the iOS client through the App Store instructions provided in the user panel; this page does not provide an installation file or fixed external address. After installation, return to the account overview and copy the subscription link. Then open the client’s subscription, configuration, or Import from URL entry, paste the link, and confirm.
After the client updates and displays the route list, choose a route and tap Connect. The system will ask to allow the client to add a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompts to complete identity confirmation, then return to the client. When the connection status changes, keep the app running and open a browser to verify it. If the link is reported as invalid during import, do not edit or remove any characters; return to the user panel and copy the complete address again.
If another VPN configuration already exists on the device, avoid enabling both at once. iOS routes network traffic through the currently active system configuration, and switching between multiple configurations can briefly desynchronize the client interface and system status. Disconnect the existing configuration first, then reconnect with the H5VPN client to reduce confusion during troubleshooting.
Get the ClientComplete the Connection and Verify It Works
Check the client status, egress information, and actual access results together.
A Connected status in the client is only the first check. Keep the connection active and open H5VPN’s IP lookup page to view the current egress information. For comparison, check it once while disconnected and reload the page after connecting. The post-connection egress location should match the selected route. If the page looks unchanged, make sure the browser is not showing an old cache, then disconnect and reconnect.
Next, open the website or app you actually need and complete a normal access test. If websites load but streaming or large-file transfers are unstable, the import has not necessarily failed; switch to another route in the client and compare. Do not change the protocol, route, system proxy, and app settings at the same time, or you will not know which change affected the result.
If no websites load, check in this order: confirm that the plan in the account overview is active, update the subscription, check that a route is selected, and reconnect. On Windows and macOS, also make sure no other network tool is controlling the system proxy. On Android and iOS, confirm that the system VPN configuration is still allowed. Test once after each check instead of changing everything at once.
Once the basic connection passes, initial setup on the new device is complete. To switch routes later, select one in the client and reconnect; when subscription content changes, use the client’s subscription update option. For direct connections, relays, IEPL dedicated lines, packet loss, peak-hour congestion, and protocol trade-offs, read the Protocol and Route Technical Reference; advanced parameters are outside this guide.
Check These Steps When Cross-Border Access Is Not Working
Check each layer from the account to the system instead of reinstalling without a clear direction.
When something goes wrong, first identify the layer where the failure occurs. If the account overview shows no active plan, address the order status first. If the account is fine but the client has no routes, check the subscription link and update action. If routes are present but the client cannot connect, check route selection, system authorization, and other network tools. If the client connects but one app remains unavailable, check that app’s network status separately.
Reinstalling the client usually should not be the first step. Most first-time setup issues come from an outdated subscription, unconfirmed system permissions, or multiple network configurations enabled at once. Checking each layer preserves the current setup and makes the issue easier to describe. If you need to submit a ticket, record the system, the status shown by the client, the checks you completed, and whether the issue affects every website or only one service. Do not show the full subscription link in ticket screenshots.
The user panel provides a ticket entry for account, order, and connection issues. For route principles, protocol resource usage, and mobile battery behavior, consult the technical reference directly. This keeps the setup flow concise while making deeper explanations available when needed.
